Collins Blay LLP Chartered Professional Accountants is currently seeking a qualified CPA for a Manager or Senior Manager position to service our continued growth in our vibrant accounting practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning audit and non-audit engagements including supervision and review of annual financial statement files, corporate and personal income tax returns, and other related accounting projects for our clients. Working as a direct report to our four partners, you will engage with our clients, our staff accountants and our administrative support team on a daily basis to ensure timely and accurate completion of our client work. The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- CPA designation, a minimum of 6 years in a CPA firm with two years of manager-level experience
- Knowledge and experience with preparing and reviewing audit and review engagement files
- Working knowledge of tax integration and owner managed business tax planning
- Full working knowledge of Taxprep and Caseware software applications and full competence with MS Office applications
- Proven leadership, organizational, technical and problem solving skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Commitment to quality and superior client service
