I was born and raised in Peterborough, Ontario. Throughout my childhood I knew that I had an affinity for managing numbers, seeing beyond equations and strategic thinking. In 2011 I made the decision to follow this interest and begin my further education in Business Accounting. I moved to Kingston in 2012 to attend St. Lawrence College for its Business Administration-Accounting program. Upon graduating from the Business Admin-Accounting program, I applied to Nipissing University for the Bachelor of Business Commerce. It was during this time that I was offered an opportunity to begin working at Collins Blay. Concurrently, I learned the specifics of working in public accounting, while building my knowledge of the commerce sector. I graduated from the B-Comm program in August of 2016.
Collins Blay carries a strong focus on professional education and by doing so they have given me the opportunity to continue my education while sharpening my day-to-day skills. I am currently in the process of completing the CPA program while helping our clients with their corporate financial statements and income tax requirements.
